Manas National Park is located in the Himalayan foothills in the northeast of India. The name “Manas National Park” has been derived from the Manas River which is a major tributary of Brahmaputra River. The mighty Brahmaputra passes through the heart of the Manas National Park. It was declared as a wildlife sanctuary on 1st October 1928 with an area under 360 square kilometers. It was established Manas Biosphere Reserve in 1973. Before it was declared as sanctuary it was reserved forest called “Manas Reserved Forest” and “North Kamrup Reserved Forest”. Manas is one of the nine tiger reserve sanctuaries in India. Other wildlife spices found in national park are Hispid Hare, Pigmy Hog, Golden Langur, Indian Rhinoceros, Asiatic Buffalo etc. Other commonly seen animals are Elephant, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Himalayan Bear, Wild Boar, Samber, Swamp Deer, Hog Deer etc.

We organize jeep and elephant safaris, river rafting in and around Manas National Park. We work closely with the local community to give our guests unique experiences such as folk-dance performances by community members and guided village visits. We also organize bonfire sessions held daily on the evening.
